Literature Text

A thousand arrows pierce through:

My words won't dance
nor will they sleep or hide.

A thousand screams echo through:

I won't cry, I won't cry, I won't cry;
my hands won't tremble, the drums won't die.

I was never real thus I can't be erased;
the words I utter will in dreams remain.

His teeth oblivious to my heart running down;
my deaths are as glorious as the days I am born.

Spring has come to taunt me once more,
by the ankle I dangle over the city wall.

A thousand kisses flow through;
my knees are weak, feverish my thoughts.

The empty rooms turn into cellars so dark;
I don't even remember if I were ever loved.

Wow, this was really eerie (not to mention slightly depressing) but I really liked it. The loose rhyme scheme worked very well here, giving the poem structure, without limiting it too much. Excellent job! :)
